New York - Saba:
Hundreds of activists expressed their rejection of the arbitrary detention of Palestinian student Mahmoud Khalil, due to his political views in support of the Palestinian cause and his participation in student protests against the "genocide" being committed in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa," the activists expressed their rejection of the occupation's crimes against the Palestinian people and the return of the Israeli enemy government's crimes in the Gaza Strip during a popular rally held at Adler Hall in New York City, calling for an end to the "genocide" in Palestine.
Activists gathered from several American universities and institutions affirmed their opposition to the targeting of students and called for the protection of civil liberties.
They emphasized that targeting students because of their political positions is a clear violation of human rights and democratic values.
