The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the renewed bombing by the Israeli enemy forces on the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry stated that "these aggressive actions constitute a blatant violation of international and humanitarian law, directly targeting innocent civilians, confirming the continuation of the policy of oppression and aggression pursued by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people."
The Republic of Iraq called on the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities and take urgent action to put an end to these grave violations, protecting Palestinian civilians from the ongoing assaults that contradict the most basic principles of human rights.
It affirmed its steadfast support for the Palestinian people in their just struggle to achieve their freedom and legitimate rights, including the right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state.
