Sana'a - Saba:
Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, member of the Supreme Political Council, participated in an event held this evening in Sana'a to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the death of General Yahya Mohammed Al-Shami and his son, Major General Zakaria Al-Shami, former Minister of Transport.

At the event, the member of the Supreme Political Council emphasized that the two deceased are national figures that Yemen lost at a historic moment when it needed them most.

"We lost two state leaders who served the Yemeni people and society," he said. He praised the level of attendance at this event in recognition the role of these two figures.

Dr. Bin Habtoor pointed out that commemorating this anniversary embodies loyalty to their role and their honorable positions. "We should not forget that at a historic moment they stood and stood with the homeland, which unfortunately some people easily abandoned and left it, fleeing to the countries of aggression," he said.

During the event, which was attended by a number of members of the House of Representatives, ministers and shura, Engineer Idris Yahya al-Shami, in the speech of the sons of the deceased, referred to the national role played by the two deceased in the face of the US-Saudi Emirati aggression. He stressed that they will continue to follow their path under the leadership of Mr. Abdulmalik Badruddin al-Houthi and the Supreme Political Council in the march of steadfastness and resistance to all forms of aggression.

He pointed out that the wide attendance in the commemoration of this anniversary reflects the great place that the two martyrs occupy in the conscience of Yemenis.
