The Israeli warplanes launched a wide aerial attack starting at 9:15 PM yesterday, targeting valleys and the outskirts of towns in southern Lebanon with more than twenty airstrikes.
The National News Agency reported that a series of airstrikes targeted the Hamdaniyeh area between the towns of Kfarwa and Azza, two airstrikes on the Marisa area between the towns of Al-Babiliyah and Al-Zarariyah, and two airstrikes on the Wadi Al-Zaghareen area located between (Sajd, Al-Aishiya, Al-Rihaneh). Additionally, an airstrike hit the Birghaz area, causing a hole in the road leading to the Western Bekaa, and other airstrikes targeted the Tebna and Baydoun areas, along with a cut on the Tafhat Road.
The agency also mentioned that a series of airstrikes targeted the outskirts of Beit Yahoun, Wadi Mariamineh between Zbikin and Yatar, and two airstrikes on the Ayta al-Jabal forest.
The Israeli aggression against Lebanon began on October 8, 2023, and escalated into a wide-scale war on September 23 of the previous year, leaving 4,115 martyrs, 16,909 wounded, including a large number of women and children, and causing the displacement of approximately 1.4 million people.
Since the implementation of the ceasefire agreement on November 27, 2024, Israeli occupation forces have committed hundreds of violations, resulting in at least 84 martyrs and 284 injuries, according to official statistics.
Furthermore, the Israeli enemy has failed to complete its withdrawal from southern Lebanon by February 18, as stipulated in the agreement. The Israeli forces carried out a partial withdrawal but continue to occupy five key Lebanese points, without announcing an official date for the complete withdrawal.
