English: Manchester City have officially announced the signing of Argentine midfielder Claudio Echeverri, after his loan period to River Plate ended.
City had signed the 19-year-old player in January 2024, but he continued with his former team until December. After that, he shone with the Argentine U-20 national team, scoring 6 goals in 9 matches, and led his team to the final of the South American Championship before losing to Paraguay.
During his career with River Plate, he played 48 matches, scored 4 goals, and provided 8 assists.
It is noteworthy that Manchester City also signed Egyptian Omar Marmoush from Frankfurt in Germany during the last winter Mercato.
