Sana'a - Saba:
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Jamal Amer met on Tuesday with human rights activists from the Republic of Chile and international coordinator of the Human Defense Network Dr. Pablo Allende and head of the Raul Humanitarian Foundation Dr. Roberto Bermudez.
In the meeting, Minister Amer welcomed the activists, referring to the struggle to defend the oppressed and fight American imperialism, which has returned once again in its ugliest forms with the current American administration.
He said "Trump threatens to return the world to the darkness of the 19th century, which requires unifying the efforts of the free people of the world and the forces opposing imperialism and American-Zionist plans to commit a new crime of genocide by talking about displacing more than two and a half million Palestinians from Gaza."
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates explained that Islam is a religion that rejects injustice and oppression, and the first Muslims were among the oppressed who worked to confront injustice and arrogance.
He stressed that Sana'a, led by Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, was the only one that stood in a direct military confrontation with the United States of America and the Zionist entity, noting that the imperialist powers are working to target the spirit of resistance in Yemen by tightening the economic blockade on the Yemeni people, which will only increase their strength and support for their leadership.
While human rights activists Dr. Allende and Dr. Bermudez indicated that their visit to Yemen comes to express support and advocacy for the Yemeni people and their revolutionary government to confront what they have been suffering from a comprehensive blockade for ten years.
They explained that during the visit, they were informed of the difficult health situation that caused the death of many children as a result of the deterioration of health services as a result of the blockade.
Allende and Bermudez considered the economic blockade to be a stronger and more dangerous influence than bombs, including the nuclear bomb.
