Ibb - Saba:

A meeting chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah convened on Saturday in Ibb province to assess the progress of service and development projects and to strategize on enhancing their implementation.

The meeting, also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed al-Madani and Ibb governor Abdulwahid Salah, reviewed the progress of community initiative projects across various sectors and districts, taking necessary actions to ensure their successful completion.

Miftah commended the achievements of community initiative projects, supported by the local authority and the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit, in improving citizen services. He urged further efforts to expedite project implementation.

He also highlighted plans to implement economic empowerment projects funded by the General Authority of Zakat, emphasizing the crucial role of associations in training and qualifying beneficiaries from impoverished families. He stressed the need to address environmental pollution through well-planned and practical programs.

Deputy Prime Minister al-Madani emphasized the importance of collaboration through community initiatives and government support, highlighting that local development is based on social and economic aspects.

He pointed to the state's efforts to reduce imports by encouraging local production, with associations playing a key role in economic empowerment projects.

Governor Salah outlined the projects implemented in the past year, noting that community initiative projects in the province have totaled 42 billion Y.R.

He stressed the commitment to expanding projects, particularly in economic empowerment and environmental protection, and collaborating with relevant authorities for sustainable development.
