Sana'a - Saba:
The Parliament held a session on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Speaker Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, in the presence of the Prime Minister of the Government of Change and Construction, Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahawi, and members of the government.

At the beginning of the session, the Speaker welcomed the head and members of the government in the People's House. He stressed the Council's keenness to support the government to achieve its program , perform its tasks , duties in achieving reform , correcting imbalances and shortcomings.

The Speaker pointed out the importance of mobilizing energies, potentials , available resources, preparing , implementing targeted plans and providing the appropriate environment to achieve sustainable development.

He pointed out that at this stage of its history, Yemen is facing great challenges in various fields as a result of the continued aggression and the development of its methods and plans that target all sectors of the state and the looting of sovereign wealth, which led to the deterioration of services provided to citizens and the decline in economic performance, in addition to the emergence of many imbalances.

For his part, the Prime Minister of the Government of Change and Construction praised the role of the House of Representatives and its interest in discussing public issues of concern to citizens. He pointed out the importance of this session to consolidate the relationship and joint work between the House of Representatives and the ministers, which comes in response to the Speaker's invitation to the government to present a report on the level of implementation of its general program and the recommendations of the House of Representatives on the program.

"The Government of Change and Construction, as an executive mechanism of the state and the political and revolutionary leadership, is keen to coordinate and integrate efforts, unify visions, develop remedies to reform the situation, correct government structures and develop methods of performance," he said.

Al-Rahawi said that the government, based on its general program and the recommendations of the House of Representatives, worked during the past period to implement many of the activities and measures included in the report, especially those related to strengthening steadfastness in the face of aggression and addressing its effects. He explained that the government was keen in this aspect to enhance the state of combat readiness by continuing to develop the means of confronting the aggression and developing industrial capabilities in the field of military production, especially the defense system, missile force and drones.
