The Deaf Care and Rehabilitation Association in Capital Secretariat launched on Saturday a project to distribute uniforms and educational supplies for students of the Association's Al-Amal School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for the academic year 2024-2025.
At the launch, the Secretary General of the Association, Iyad Al-Wael, explained that the implementation of the project comes with the funding of the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Disabled and in partnership with the National Union of Yemeni Disabled Associations to support the educational process and ease the economic pressure on the families of male , female students and provide educational opportunities for them.
He emphasized the association's keenness to provide the school bag and make efforts to follow up to continue , support education and encourage students to continue their education in light of the conditions of aggression , blockade and concern for the future of the hearing impaired segment, which gives them hope to move on in life.
For their part, the students expressed their gratitude to the association , the fund for their constant assistance , care for them and their continuous keenness to develop an educational environment that meets their needs.
The inauguration was attended by members of the association's administrative and supervisory body and a number of students' parents.
