US President Donald Trump on Tuesday expressed his support for Israel's annexation of the West Bank and pledged to take control of Gaza Strip and expel its residents.

Jordan's King Abdullah II announced a new position in this regard.

In response to a question about Israel's annexation of the West Bank, Trump said, "It will work," according to Reuters.

Regarding Gaza, the US president said: "We're going to manage Gaza very well and we're not going to buy it."

"Reuters" quoted the King of Jordan as saying: The kingdom will take in 2,000 Palestinian children who are sick.

"We have to consider how to implement this in the interest of everyone," Abdullah II said.

Regarding the existence of land on which Palestinians can live, Abdullah II said, "I have to do what is in the interest of my country." He added: "We have to wait to see a plan from Egypt. There will be a response from several countries," he said.
