Sana'a - Saba:
Researcher Ibrahim Saif Al-Shujaifi received a doctoral degree with distinction in English language from the Faculty of Languages at Sana'a University, for his thesis titled "Evaluating the quality of translation of cultural terms in Abdul Wahab Al-Maqaleh's translation of Dave Eggers' The Monk of Mokha and Hermann Hesse's Rosshalde".
The discussion and judging committee, headed by Dr. Qaid Farea, external discussant, and including Dr. Mohammed Al-Aqili, internal discussant, and Dr. Ibrahim Al-Berihi, supervisor of the thesis, praised the researcher's efforts and the results of the thesis.
The discussion was attended by a number of faculty members at the College of Languages and the translator of the two novels, Dr. Abdul Wahab Al-Maqaleh.
