The tribes of Dhamar district staged an armed demonstration on Tuesday announcing general mobilization and readiness to confront any escalation as part of the ongoing battle for Palestine.
The event, held under the slogan "We are steadfast with Gaza... with our faith identity and our Quranic path to confront any escalation," emphasized the unwavering support of the Yemeni people for Gaza and their commitment to fighting alongside the Palestinian cause.
Advisor to the Supreme Political Council Sheikh Mohammed al-Maqdashi reaffirmed the unity between the Yemeni people and leadership in supporting Palestine.
Al-Maqdashi assured that no matter the enemy's efforts, the Yemeni people’s steadfastness would not be shaken, and that the armed stands were a message of solidarity to both the Palestinian people and the enemies of Yemen.
In his speech, Sheikh Ali al-Husaisi, a leader from Dhamar, reiterated the tribes' strong stance in supporting Gaza and their readiness to confront any potential escalation.
The stand was attended by members of the Shura Council, local leaders, and various dignitaries, who renewed their commitment to defending the oppressed and remaining on the path of resistance against the Zionist, American, and British forces.
A statement issued during the stand emphasized the general mobilization of forces, continued support for Gaza, and the Yemeni people’s readiness to confront all enemies.
The statement also praised the Yemeni armed forces for their successful strikes in occupied Palestine and their efforts to dismantle spy networks.
It called for those misled by aggression to return to the right path and accept the general amnesty, reminding all Arab tribes of their moral duty to stand with Gaza.
The event was widely attended by local leaders, sheikhs, and social figures, underscoring the collective commitment to supporting Palestine in its ongoing struggle.
