The Directorate of Condolences in Taiz Governorate launched today the methodological, scientific and cultural competition for secondary school students, which is organized by the Education Sector in the Directorate and lasts for two weeks.
The competition aims to enhance the spirit of competition among students, and their acquisition of cognitive skills within the framework of school activities for the year 1446 AH, in addition to linking the activities to the spirit of the month of Rajab and the "Al-Aqsa Flood" programs.
During the inauguration, the Director of the Education Sector in the Directorate, Tawfiq Al-Sufi, gave a presentation on the mechanism of the competition, stressing its role in developing students' scientific and practical skills and refining their talents. He also stressed the importance of cooperation to educate young people in Quranic culture and achieve scientific and cognitive development.
The competitions included a number of schools in the district, and the results of the first day resulted in Zubair School for Girls winning first place, followed by Al Tawasul School in second place, and Khawla School in third place.
