Sana'a - Saba:

Shaab Hadramawt team strengthened its lead in the men's basketball first division with a great victory over the defending champion Sana'a Unit 86-49, in the match that brought the two teams together at Al-Ahli Club Hall in Sana'a at the end of the second phase of the league.

Shaab Hadramawt dominated the match from the start thanks to their defensive and offensive organization, while the confusion of Sana'a's unity was evident. Despite the latter's attempts to restore balance, the people of Hadramawt won all periods of the match, including decisive periods with results of 25-11 and 25-14. Thus, Al-Shaab ended the match by a large margin, achieving its sixth victory without any defeat, bringing its score of 12 points at the top of the standings. Sana'a unit suffered its first loss of the season, finishing second with 9 points.

In another match on the final day of the second stage, Ahli Sana'a scored an important victory over Seiyun 70-50. The match was characterized by rivalry in its early periods, as Al-Ahli won an outstanding performance in the first period 23-17, and was able to maintain its superiority in the rest of the periods thanks to its defensive organization and accuracy of shooting. Ahli Sana'a raised its score to 7 points to occupy fifth place, while Seiyun remained in seventh place with 6 points.

The matches were attended by a number of officials of the General Basketball Federation, including the President of the Federation Abdul Sattar Al-Hamdani, and its Secretary-General Jamal Ibrahim, which added momentum to the competitions, which witnessed a spirited performance at the end of the second phase.
