Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Jamal Amer met today with Abdullahi Iman, the Country Director of CARE International.
During the meeting, Minister Amer listened to the Country Director explain the projects implemented by the organization during the year 2024 in various fields its plans for the next year, and the efforts exerted to mobilize the necessary funding for them.
In the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants stressed the keenness of organizations working in the humanitarian field to redouble their efforts in providing support to the Yemeni people.
He stressed the need not to link the provision of aid to the political aspect and focus on humanitarian projects that are a priority for the government.
In turn, the Country Director of CARE International expressed his appreciation for the facilities provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants. He stressed the organization's commitment to providing all possible humanitarian support to the Yemeni people.
