The Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment, Eng. Moeen Al-Mahakri, was briefed on Thursday on the progress of work at the International Glass Company factory.
The Economy Minister listened to an explanation from the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, Mohammed Alansi, about the nature of work in the factory and the products it provides to the local market of glass.
The Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment praised the quality of the factory's products and the accuracy of the work. He emphasized the support for such quality investment projects that provide added value to the product and provide job opportunities.
Minister Al-Mahakri pointed out that the Ministry is working to network between local factories to meet their needs from local production and create a complementary relationship that establishes a sustainable industrial activity that supports the national economy and contributes to reducing the import bill. He stressed the ministry's keenness to support , encourage all industrial and productive activities.
He pointed out that the government of change and construction is determined to create a real partnership with the private sector and national capital to overcome all the obstacles that were a concern for the investor by translating the incentives and facilities of the new investment law as well as the economic stimulus program on the ground.
