Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mahdi and his deputy Eng. Ali Hussein Al-Makni inspected on Saturday the work progress at Sabafon Mobile Phone Company.
During the visit, Minister Al-Mahdi stressed the need for the company to focus on expanding and improving its services, developing and securing its infrastructure to meet the requirements of the current stage and moving towards the automation of business and services to achieve the vision of the revolutionary and political leadership in the digital transformation of business.
He pointed out the need for concerted efforts to upgrade telecommunications services and overcome the difficult stage the country is going through as a result of the aggression and blockade against our country, which has caused great difficulties for the telecommunications sector.
The Minister and his deputy listened to an extensive explanation of the services provided by the company and the recent upgrades in the company's infrastructure to keep pace with the changes in the telecommunications sector from the Chairman of the Board of Directors Abdullah Al-Shaer and Executive Director Qassim Al-Sharafi.
