The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning predicted cold and very cold weather in a number of governorates during the next 24 hours.
The center said in its weather bulletin that it expects very cold weather at night and during the early morning in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda and the Dhalea and Ibb highlands.
While the weather will be cold in Al-Jawf, Marib and the heights of Lahij, Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramawt.
The center stated that the lowest temperatures recorded at some meteorological stations this morning were as follows: Rasaba - Dhamar: 3.5, Amran: 6, Sana'a: 6.3, Al-Bayda: 6.6, Baadan - Ibb: 8.1 degrees Celsius.
The center called on citizens in mountainous areas and interior plateaus, especially children, the elderly and workers during the late night and early morning hours, to take the necessary measures to prevent cold and very cold weather.
He urged farmers to take the necessary precautions and follow the necessary instructions to protect their agricultural crops from the effects of cold and extreme cold, as well as livestock herders, bees and birds.
