Chinese President Xi Jinping called for "harmony" between his country and the United States following his comment on the announcement of Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential elections.
"I call on Beijing and Washington to manage their differences in an appropriate manner... expressing his hope that the two countries will respect each other, coexist peacefully and cooperate to the benefit of both of them, the Chinese president said in a statement on Thursday.
The Republican candidate for the US presidential election, Donald Trump, announced his victory in the US presidential election, and that he will be the 47th president of America, and no official body has announced the final results of the elections.
The US Vice President and Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris, announced her acceptance of the results of the 2024 presidential election in a speech she gave at Howard University, where she stressed her commitment to accepting the results despite their failure to meet the aspirations of her campaign and supporters.
