Today, the Specialized Criminal Division in Capital Sana'a, presided over by Judge Abdullah Ali Al-Najjar, approved the reservation of the Hassan Zaid assassination case to deliberate on the defense's argument concerning the inadmissibility of the prosecution's appeal.
During a session focused on the case of 36 individuals accused of establishing an armed gang for murder, sabotage, and bombing, as well as supplying the coalition of aggression with coordinates of military and civilian locations in the capital Sana'a, the division resolved to grant the defense one final opportunity to present their evidence.
In the case of the defendant Adnan Ali Hussein Al-Harazi - the director and owner of "Prodigy Systems" - convicted of the crime of illegal contact with a foreign country, and sentenced to death by Tazir, the Division decided to allow the prosecution to respond to the defendant's appeal, to the next session.
In the case of the assassination of Ibrahim al-Houthi, the Division also allowed the prosecution to respond to the appeal petitions of the rest of the defendants.
