BEIRUT September 07. 2024 (Saba)- Three members of the Lebanese Civil Defense were killed in an enemy raid on a firefighting vehicle in Froun town.
Three members of the Lebanese Civil Defense were martyred and two others were injured, one of them critically, on Saturday evening, in a raid by Israeli occupation planes on a firefighting vehicle in the town of Froun in southern Lebanon.
"The initial toll of the Israeli occupation targeting a Lebanese Civil Defense team that was extinguishing fires ignited by the recent Israeli raids in the Froun town is the martyrdom of three paramedics and the injury of two others, one of whom is in critical condition," the Lebanese Health Ministry said.
In a statement, the ministry condemned "this blatant Israeli aggression that targeted a team in an official agency of the Lebanese state, noting that it is the second of its kind against an ambulance team in less than 12 hours."
"The Israeli occupation's insistence on accumulating such violations, which are prohibited by international law, is only a confirmation of its barbarism and aggressive intentions that leave no room for the accomplishment of humanitarian missions that are usually allowed in the harshest and most severe wars".
