RAMALLAH September 07. 2024 (Saba) — The Palestinian Prisoners Club has condemned the recent release of videos depicting the torture of Palestinian detainees as a deliberate act by the Occupation government.
The Club claims that these images, showing detainees being tormented by police dogs and bound in degrading positions, are intended to intimidate Palestinians and tarnish the image of Palestinian prisoners.
It accuses the Occupation officials, including extremist minister Ben Gvir, of using these acts of torture to gain domestic support and undermine international human rights standards.
The Prisoners Club calls for an impartial international investigation into these practices and urges the UN to hold Israel accountable.
