MUNICH September 05. 2024 (Saba) – An armed assailant who attacked the Israeli consulate in Munich has been killed, according to German media reports.
The shooter, identified in the final moments as an 18-year-old Muslim, was shot dead immediately following the attack.
Initial reports had suggested that the attacker was an Austrian citizen of Bosnian origin. However, updated information confirms that the individual was a German national.
The German government has confirmed that the target of the shooting was the Israeli consulate.
The motive behind the attack remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
