GEORGIA September 04. 2024 (Saba)- At least two people have been killed in a shooting at a Georgia high school, according to MCNBS.
The Barrow County Sheriff's Office released a statement saying: "A suspect was taken into custody after authorities received a report of an active shooter at Appalachian High School in Winder, Georgia."
"Injuries have been reported, but details regarding their number or conditions are not yet available," the statement said.
According to video from outside the school, there were at least five ambulances and a large active law enforcement presence on the school campus, and at least one medical helicopter could be seen transporting a patient from the scene.
An FBI spokesperson said: Special agents from the bureau responded to assist with local law enforcement.
