OCCUPIED QUDS September 01. 2024 (Saba) - Two Israeli officials on Sunday called for civil disobedience to overthrow the government of the Zionist Benjamin Netanyahu, after the bodies of six Zionist prisoners were recovered from the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Former war minister Benny Gantz said Netanyahu is afraid and playing at the expense of time for political motives and at the expense of the lives of prisoners, and he must preserve the prisoners and the Israelis, not his government coalition, and everyone should go out to demonstrate to topple this failed government.
Gantz added: "The murder of our prisoners brings us to another difficult and painful morning, and I would like with the entire people of Israel to hug the families who received the most news ever and to strengthen (the Israeli army) and security forces in their ongoing work."
"The prisoners are dead, the people of the north are exiled, and Israeli society is collapsing," he said, calling for people to take to the streets because it was time to replace the failed government.
For his part, the former head of the occupation government, Ehud Barak, called for civil disobedience after the army announced the return of the bodies of six prisoners from the Gaza Strip.
Barak said in a press statement: "Netanyahu does not want to stop the war, and he must be overthrown.
