SANA'A September 01. 2024 (Saba) – The Board of Directors of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in Sana'a province, chaired by governor AbdulBasit al-Hadi, held a meeting on Sunday to evaluate the progress of its cleaning and improvement services.

The session, attended by Ali Al-Suhaili, a member of the Administrative Board of the Local Council, and various office directors, focused on reviewing and updating the fund's organizational structure and regulations.

The goal is to align with current developments and the local authority’s vision for advancing the cleanliness sector.

The board approved two new projects aimed at enhancing performance and addressing potential obstacles. Key recommendations included establishing a clear departmental structure with detailed job descriptions, conducting staff evaluations, and preparing updated job descriptions.

Additionally, the board reviewed updated collection vouchers provided by a designated committee.

Governor al-Hadi emphasized the need to elevate cleanliness and improvement standards, advocating for increased efforts to achieve significant improvements in waste management and neighborhood conditions.

Al-Hadi highlighted the importance of refining administrative and operational mechanisms within the fund, reducing departmental redundancies, and clearly defining daily and weekly tasks.

The governor also stressed the necessity of strengthening the relationship between the Fund and the community.

He reiterated the local authority’s commitment to overcoming challenges faced by the Fund and enhancing both cleaning and environmental efforts.
