HODEIDA August 29. 2024 (Saba) - On Thursday Zabid Agricultural Association launched the first phase of distributing grain seeds to farmers.
The distribution aims to exploit the rainy season to expand the cultivation of various grain and legume crops such as millet, sorghum, sesame, maize, beans, soybeans, and cotton.
During the launch, the association's chairman, Mohammed Obaid Din, explained that the launch targets more than a thousand beneficiaries from the various districts of the district, indicating that 36 tons of grain seeds, 20 tons of maize seeds, a ton of improved sesame seeds, a ton of bean seeds, and ten tons of cotton seeds were distributed to the targeted farmers.
