BETHLEHEM August 28. 2024 (Saba) - A number of Palestinian citizens suffered from suffocation on Wednesday evening, during clashes with the Zionist enemy forces in the village of Husan, west Bethlehem, in the southern occupied West Bank.
Palestinian media sources reported that the clashes were concentrated in the central areas of the village, near schools and "Korom Al-Sharaqa", where the enemy forces fired live bullets, sound bombs and tear gas, which led to a number of citizens suffering from suffocation, who were treated in the field.
Since the morning hours, the enemy forces forced the owners of shops in the areas of Al-Mutina, Al-Shorfa and Al-Mashahid to close their doors, and prevented the citizens' movement and vehicles along the main street.
It is noteworthy that the West Bank has witnessed an escalation in Zionist incursions since the outbreak of the last war on Gaza Strip ten months ago, and according to Palestinian medical sources, these attacks have left more than 660 martyrs and about 5,400 wounded since last October.
