SANA'A August 27. 2024 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Mohamed Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, met today with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Jamal Amer.

During the meeting, they discussed the executive programs entrusted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs following the directions of the Government of Change and Construction to strengthen the diplomatic and political role of the Republic of Yemen and its political center in Sana'a.

President Al-Mashat stressed the importance of strengthening relations and cooperation with the United Nations and international organizations per the foundations of the Yemeni constitution and law and for the benefit of the people, through the management of relief and development assistance to the most affected groups, especially in the areas affected by the floods, especially the targeted people of Hodeidah and Hajjah governorates.

He pointed out that today's Yemen is writing a new chapter of its history crowned with redemption, sacrifice and victories, and the diplomatic corps must keep pace with this stage with a strong and effective presence that connects East and West and expresses the aspirations of Yemen revolution and steadfastness.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants appreciated the attention of the President of the Supreme Political Council and his continuous support for the ministry's efforts. He explained that the ministry's team is in the process of finalizing the ministry's plans to achieve the directions of the new government and lead to strengthening the political and diplomatic status of the Republic of Yemen and its capital, Sana'a.
