BETHLEHEM August 20. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy vehicles on Tuesday demolished a house in the town of Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem, in the southern occupied West Bank, under the pretext of not having a permit.
According to local sources, the enemy forces raided the Khirbet al-Deir area in the town and proceeded to demolish the two-storey house of Saher Salim Ayyash, which houses nine people, with an area of 140 square meters.
The sources added that the enemy soldiers closed the perimeter of the house during the demolition, and fired gas and sound bombs towards citizens, without reporting injuries.
The Zionist enemy forces detained journalist Ahmed Zawahreh for hours before releasing him, while he was covering the demolition.
