SANA'A August 19. 2024 (Saba) – Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir on Monday emphasized that administrative reform, change, and construction will be key priorities for the upcoming phase, particularly within the oil and minerals sector.

In a meeting with ministry leaders and employees, al-Amir highlighted the need for collective efforts to carry out the ministry’s tasks and activities.

He stressed the importance of learning from past experiences to enhance positive outcomes and address any shortcomings, advocating for innovative solutions to strengthen the national economy through organized, well-planned initiatives.

Al-Amir urged strict adherence to official working hours and the timely completion of tasks and citizen transactions, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and commitment to advancing the oil and minerals sector.

He praised the ministry’s staff for their dedication despite the ongoing challenges posed by aggression and blockades.

Deputy Minister Yasser al-Wahidi also addressed the meeting, acknowledging the significant challenges facing the sector due to the continued aggression and blockade, which have severely impacted its infrastructure.

He reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to supporting the government's program for change and construction.
