TAIZ August 18. 2024 (Saba) — Ongoing maintenance and restoration efforts are being carried out on al-Qasr Street in Taiz province, extending from the Sofitel roundabout to al-Qasr roundabout.
The road, heavily damaged by recent aggression, is undergoing significant repairs.
Work crews are addressing potholes, rehabilitating median strips, and installing new lighting.
Funded by the local authority, the first phase of the project, which covers 2,200 meters in Sala district, costs 119 million Y.R.
The maintenance aims to improve traffic flow and reduce difficulties for residents traveling to and from Taiz city.
Project managers have commended the local authority’s commitment to service projects, highlighting the importance of road rehabilitation in alleviating citizens' hardships.
