SANA'A August 18. 2024 (Saba) - A handover ceremony was held on Sunday in the Capital Sana'a between the new Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water, Dr. Ali Saif Mohammed, and the outgoing ministers, Dr. Mohammed al-Bukhaiti and Eng. Abdulraqeeb al-Shurmani.

During the ceremony, Dr. Mohammed acknowledged the efforts of the former ministers in managing the challenges faced by their ministries amid ongoing aggression and a blockade.

He commended their work under difficult conditions and emphasized that their contributions remain highly valued.

Dr. al-Bukhaiti highlighted the dedication of the Ministry of Electricity’s staff and expressed hope for continued progress and increased efforts under the new leadership.

Similarly, Eng. Abdulraqeeb al-Shurmani praised the efforts of the Ministry of Water and Environment's personnel in providing essential services despite the challenging circumstances.

Minister Mohammed also visited the General Electricity Corporation, where he reviewed its operations and discussed current challenges with the Corporation’s leadership.
