MARIB August 16. 2024 (Saba) — Marib province saw a significant show of support on Friday with nine mass marches and over 20 protests under the banner "In support of Al-Aqsa and Gaza.. Support continues and the response is coming."

The demonstrations were held to denounce the ongoing Occupation aggression in Gaza, which has persisted for 11 months.

Al-Juba district hosted a major march where participants voiced their unwavering support for the Palestinian people and condemned the Zionist atrocities, which have reportedly exceeded 3,500 massacres.

In Serwah district, a march featuring governor Ali Tuaiman highlighted the endorsement of the newly formed government of change and construction, marking a step towards radical reform.

In the northern square, protesters in Majzar area condemned the escalating violations against al-Aqsa Mosque, while two marches in Harib al-Qaramish urged Arab and Islamic nations to take a stand against the genocide in Gaza.

The Badbadah and Mahila districts also saw two significant marches each, emphasizing ongoing mobilization and alertness against the perceived Zionist-American-British aggression.

Additional protests in Majzar, Serwah, Rahba, Jabal Murad, and other districts reiterated the Yemeni commitment to support Palestine and challenge international inaction.

A statement released during the marches praised the resilience of the Palestinian resistance and al-Qassam Brigades' recent missile strike on occupied Jaffa.

The statement condemned the continued desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque and criticized the inadequate responses from Arab and Islamic governments.

It reaffirmed Yemen’s resolve to maintain its support for Palestine and anticipated a continued and robust response to the ongoing conflict.
