Al-QUDS August 15. 2024 (Saba) - Settlers from the extremist settlement association "Ateret Cohanim" seized a residential building in the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood in the town of Silwan in occupied Quds on Thursday.
The Shehadeh family reported that the "Israeli Supreme Court" rejected the appeal submitted by the family, noting that following the court's decision, settlers from the "Ateret Cohanim" association seized the building consisting of five residential apartments, under the pretext that Jews have owned the land on which the building was built since 1881.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that the occupation forces closed the roads leading to the Shehadeh family building, coinciding with the settlers' storming and seizing it.
He added that the occupation forces assaulted members of the Shehadeh family, forcibly prevented them from reaching the building, and fired sound bombs at them.
