RAMALLAH August 15. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy forces have arrested at least 30 Palestinian citizens from the West Bank, including a female student and former prisoners, since yesterday evening until Thursday morning.
The Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Prisoners' Club explained in a joint statement that the arrests were concentrated in Hebron Governorate, while the rest were distributed among the governorates of Ramallah, Tulkarm, Bethlehem, Nablus, and Al-Quds .
In addition, the Zionist enemy forces continue to carry out attacks and threats against detainees and their families during the arrest campaigns, in addition to vandalism and destruction of citizens' houses.
They pointed out that the enemy forces have arrested more than 10,100 citizens from the West Bank, including Al-Quds, since the beginning of the ongoing war of extermination and comprehensive aggression against the Palestinians.
It is worth mentioning that these arrest campaigns constitute the most prominent fixed and systematic policies used by the enemy forces, including the policy of (collective punishment), which constitutes a central tool for the occupation in targeting citizens.
It is worth mentioning that the data related to the arrest cases include those who were kept in detention by the Zionist enemy, and those who were later released.
