ANKARA August 13. 2024 (Saba) - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan called during a phone call with his US counterpart Anthony Blinken on the need to pressure the Zionist entity to achieve a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The Turkish Anadolu Agency quoted the Turkish Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement on Monday on the "X" platform after the phone call: "Fidan stressed to his US counterpart the need for the Zionist entity to abandon "provocative steps" that would expand the scope of the conflict in the region.
