BAGHDAD August 12. 2024 (Saba) - The activities of the third “Al-Aqsa Call” International Conference kicked off on Monday in Karbala city of Iraq, with wide participation of prominent symbols and personalities from Palestine and the world.
The conference will be held under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Hussein, and organized by the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine, under the slogan (From the Battle of Al-Tuff to the Al-Aqsa Flood: The Triumph of Will Over Tyranny).
The conference activities were opened with a visit by the participating delegations to the shrine of Imam Hussein, followed by a meeting with the legitimate custodian of the shrine, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, who stressed the importance of holding this conference annually, because of the global support it represents for the Palestinian cause, especially in light of the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip this year.
On August 27, 2023, the Al-Aqsa International Call Conference, in its second edition, was launched in Karbala city , with the participation of 65 countries, which was held under the slogan (Palestine and Imam Hussein: The Global Dimensions of the Messengerial Personality and the Humanitarian Cause).
