RAMALLAH August 11. 2024 (Saba) -Palestine on Sunday called on the UN Security Council to take necessary measures stipulated by the international law in order to apply its resolutions, add colonial societies in its terrorism lists, and pursue and hold accountable war-criminal settlers with nationalities from other countries.
Extremist settler gangs persistently commit more crimes and violations against the Palestinians and their lands, houses, properties and plants, protected by the occupier's army and incited and supported by the two radical ministers, Smotrich and Ben-Gvir, the Palestinian foreign ministry said in a statement.
According to a report by anti-wall and settlement authority, the occupier's army and settlers committed nearly 1,100 crimes in last July alone, the ministry added, dubbing the situation as a "colonialist, racial escalation."
The continuation of these crimes is a an obvious evidence that the international community failed to honor and apply its decisions, the UNSC Resolution (2334), and reflects the international weak reactions to settlement and settlers' assaults, the ministry said.
