SANA'A August 10. 2024 (Saba) - The Shura Council denounced the shameful silence of the Arab and Islamic regime towards the brutal massacres committed by the Zionist entity in Palestine, the latest of which was the massacre of the Tabi'in School, which claimed the lives of more than 100 martyrs and dozens of wounded, most of them women and children.
The council explained in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that this massacre and the war of extermination that civilians are being subjected to in Gaza, and the silence of the international community, especially the United Nations and the Security Council, is additional evidence of the falsity of the slogans of human rights and freedom that international institutions brag about according to interests and to confront opponents.
The occupying entity's continued perpetration of massacres and its persistence in targeting the displaced in shelter areas would not have happened without the international, Arab and Islamic silence and inaction and silence about the massacres, which have claimed the lives of more than 40,000 martyrs and 100,000 wounded since the beginning of the aggression, and the policy of starvation and forced displacement that it enjoys committing with all boldness without accountability or punishment.
The Shura Council held America directly responsible for all the crimes and violations committed in Palestine that amount to war crimes against humanity, as it is the main supporter of Zionist criminality.
It renewed its demand for the Senate, Shura Councils and similar councils in Africa and the Arab world and the Arab and Islamic parliaments to take urgent action and pressure in international forums to stop the crimes of genocide and brutal massacres committed by the Zionist entity.
The statement called on the free people of the world and human rights and humanitarian organizations to increase the pace of activities and escalate demonstrations and protests demanding an end to the aggression and holding accountable the countries complicit with the Zionist entity in committing massacres and demanding the trial of the Zionist leaders as war criminals. The Shura Council also called on the Arab peoples, especially in the countries normalizing relations with the Zionist entity, to break the barrier of fear and go out to demand an end to all forms of normalization with the enemy entity, and to activate the weapon of political and economic boycott.
