RAYMAH August 09. 2024 (Saba) – Raymah province saw 22 mass marches on Friday under the slogan “A Battle of Jihad… and One Axis… with Gaza Until Victory.”
The demonstrations, led by local officials including al-Jubain's undersecretary and the province's mobilization official, expressed strong condemnation of the ongoing violence against Palestinians by Israeli forces.
Participants voiced their support for Palestinian prisoners and praised the election of Yahya al-Sinwar as the new head of Hamas, succeeding the late Ismail Haniyeh.
The participants reaffirmed their backing for Yemeni leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi in confronting what they view as aggression by Zionist, American, and British forces.
A statement from the marches condemned Arab and Muslim leaders who have normalized relations with the Occupation and failed to act against the ongoing atrocities in Gaza.
The statement emphasized continued Yemeni solidarity with Palestinian resistance and urged other Arab and Muslim leaders to take a stand against the Zionist occupation.
