GAZA August 09. 2024 (Saba) - The Prisoners' Media Office called on Friday the official Palestinian level to take effective action on the international and legal scene to stop the crimes of the Zionist enemy inside prisons and hold its leaders accountable in the International Criminal Court.
The Prisoners' Media Office said in a statement that the testimonies of the prisoners released from prisons provide everyone with clear evidence, beyond any doubt, that the enemy is committing crimes against humanity that must never be ignored and their perpetrators must be pursued.
It called on the Red Cross and human rights and international bodies and institutions to visit the prisoners and reveal the brutal crimes they are being subjected to, and to force the enemy to stop committing the crime of enforced disappearance against the prisoners of the Gaza Strip and to disclose their names, fates and places of detention, holding the enemy fully responsible for their lives and safety.
The Prisoners' Media Office indicated in its statement that the number of prisoners in the prisons of the Zionist enemy reached more than 9,900 by the beginning of August, and this data does not include all the detainees of Gaza specifically those detained in the camps affiliated with the army.
