SANA'A August 08. 2024 (Saba) – Al- Shawkani Institute for Teacher Training and Rehabilitation in the capital Sana'a hosted a large rally on Thursday in support of Gaza and solidarity with Palestinian prisoners, organized in honor of martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh.
Participants, waving Yemeni and Palestinian flags, voiced their unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their resistance against the Zionist, American, and British aggressors.
The rally condemned the crimes of the Zionist entity, including the assassinations of martyrs Ismail Haniyeh and Fuad Shukr, and the ongoing violence against Palestinians.
Institute Dean Yahya al-Zaidi and Deputy Abdul-Wasee Al-Nakhlani lauded the Yemeni people's steadfastness and their leadership's commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause. They emphasized the importance of continued public demonstrations, seminars, and awareness campaigns to bolster support for the Palestinian resistance.
A statement read by student Qasimi al-Qasimi condemned the harsh conditions faced by Palestinian prisoners in Zionist prisons and endorsed the appointment of Yahya Sinwar as the new head of Hamas. It reaffirmed the commitment to jihad against the Zionist enemy and called on the global community to expose the false claims of human rights protections by the West while highlighting the Zionist entity's violations.
The statement urged all people of conscience to support the Palestinian cause and demand accountability for the injustices committed against Palestinian prisoners.
