TAIZ August 07. 2024 (Saba) -Taiz provincial committee for emergency and floods' damages on Wednesday held a meeting, chaired by the local council's secretary-general Mohamed al-Haj, to discuss progress made in remedying the damages left by recent floods in Maqbana district.
The meeting reviewed initial reports following field visits to the affected district, and a plan developed by the local authority to avoid any future damages.
The conferrers decided to form subcommittees tasked with reporting on the damages, and underlined the need for collective cooperation in order to avoid and risks and to take all necessary precautions.
