MAHWEET August 05. 2024 (Saba) - The Women's Cultural Committee in Shibam Kawkaban district of Mahweet province on Monday organized a protest in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza and to condemn the recent massacres committed by the Zionist forces, including the assassination of martyr Ismail Haniyeh.
Participants expressed their outrage through chants and slogans denouncing the assassination of Hamas political bureau head and the Zionist aggression against Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran.
The stand's statement reaffirmed support for the Palestinian resistance and condemned the brutal attacks by the Zionist entity, particularly against women and children. It criticized the silence of certain regimes and their alignment with American and Occupation agendas.
The statement praised the leadership of Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the President of the Supreme Political Council, and the armed forces for their support of the Palestinian people and their resistance.
It condemned the passive stance of normalizing Arab regimes regarding the Gaza massacres and emphasized that the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh will not deter the Palestinian people or the broader resistance movement from pursuing liberation and justice.
