CARACAS August 03. 2024 (Saba) -The Venezuelan presidency has dismissed US foreign minister's remarks as dangerous and meaningless.
Earlier, the secretary of state, Antony Blinken claimed that the opposition candidate, Edmond Gonzales, won the Venezuelan presidential elections.
The United States is leading a coup in Venezuela, the presidency said in a statement, as Blinken's remarks suggest that "he has assumed the role the Venezuelan elections authority" and that the U.S. government incites the demonstrators who promote violent agenda against the Venezuelan people and their institutions.
With its dominance over global telecoms, including social networks, the U.S. deviant maneuver uses lies, in order to create false account on the presidential elections, the statement said.
