SANA'A August 03. 2024 (Saba)– Deputy Minister of Interior Maj. Gen. Abdulmajeed al-Murtada on Saturday led a meeting in the capital Sana'a to review the training plan for the emergency and central security forces in the capital and provinces.
The meeting, attended by Maj. Gen. Ali al-Saifi, Undersecretary for Human Resources and Financial Sector, focused on enhancing the capabilities of these forces to maintain security and stability in the country.
Al-Saifi emphasized the need for specialized training to keep up with evolving security challenges and criminal methods.
Al-Murtada highlighted the establishment of a new training department within the General Administration of Training and Rehabilitation. This department will offer courses tailored to the needs of regular units.
He stressed the importance of psychological development for officers to ensure they embody Islamic values and have a strong sense of duty.
Al-Murtada also urged everyone to understand the significance of Yemen's fight against external adversaries and support for the Palestinian cause.
Dir. Gen. of Training and Rehabilitation Maj. Gen. Abdulfattah al-Madani emphasized the ministry's commitment to maintaining high efficiency among security personnel, calling for accurate assessment of training needs.
Deputy Director of Training and Rehabilitation Brig. Gen. Abdulrahman al-Humran underscored the need for a detailed and clear training plan, including a matrix of needs, durations, and required specifications.
