SANA'A August 03. 2024 (Saba) – A meeting chaired by Deputy Minister of Interior Maj. Gen. Abdulmajeed al-Murtada on Saturday focused on the training plans for emergency and central security forces in Sana'a and across the provinces.
Al-Murtada highlighted the importance of these forces in maintaining security and stability, emphasizing that officers and personnel need continuous training to address evolving security challenges and methods of crime.
He discussed the new decision to establish a training department within the General Administration for Training and Rehabilitation, which will offer specialized courses based on the needs of the security units.
Al-Murtada also stressed the importance of psychological training to ensure officers uphold Islamic values and are prepared for their roles in security efforts.
Training and Rehabilitation Dir. Gen. Maj. Gen. Abdulfattah al-Madani emphasized the ministry’s commitment to keeping security personnel highly efficient through ongoing and updated training, urging unit leaders to accurately assess their training needs.
In return, Deputy Director of Training and Qualification Brig. Gen. Abdulrahman al-Hamran called for a detailed and precise work plan to address training needs and prepare the required personnel effectively.
