WASHINGTON August 03. 2024 (Saba) – Fox News reported on Saturday that former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris will face off in their first debate on September 4 in Pennsylvania.

This debate will mark the second presidential debate of the election cycle, following Trump's previous debate with current President Joe Biden.

Trump confirmed the debate on his social media platform, Truth Social, and emphasized his preference for a lively, crowded venue, contrasting it with the previous debate's empty arena.

The debate was initially scheduled for September 10 on ABC, but Biden has withdrawn from the race, endorsing Harris as his successor.

Trump criticized the Democratic Party for "unconstitutionally replacing" Biden with Harris, calling it a "threat to democracy."

He expressed frustration over the switch, noting that despite his extensive efforts and spending against Biden, he now faces Harris instead.

The first presidential debate between Trump and Biden, held on June 28 and hosted by CNN in Atlanta, covered various issues including the economy, abortion, immigration, climate change, and international conflicts.
