TAIZ August 03. 2024 (Saba) - On the International Day of Rage, Taiz province's districts hosted large-scale public rallies to express support for Gaza and solidarity with Palestinian prisoners.
Demonstrations, held in key locations including the Great Messenger Square and across various districts, were attended by local officials, including governors and executive office directors.
The rallies in Taiz and surrounding areas—such as Sala, Khadir, al-Masrakh, and Sabr al-Mawadim—emphasized unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and condemned the actions of the Zionist occupation.
Participants denounced the continued aggression backed by the US and Europe and criticized the brutal treatment of Palestinian prisoners.
A statement issued during the rallies condemned the severe violations against Palestinian prisoners and reaffirmed commitment to their cause.
The statement also called for continued support for the Palestinian people, highlighting the importance of resisting the Zionist entity through jihad and advocating for global awareness and action.
In Sala district's al-Wahda Hospital, a protest stand was also organized, condemning Israeli crimes and expressing solidarity with Palestinian prisoners.
The event underscored the resolve of Taiz residents and Yemenis at large to support the Palestinian struggle and call for international intervention.
